Give your students the gift of...

Heart-Centered Classroom Management

A simple 3 step system for implementing classroom management in the elementary classroom by teaching a lifelong foundation in social and emotional strategies

I ALREADY KNOW ... I'M IN!

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR...

It's time to reclaim your time and peaceful classroom environment.

Let me know if any of this sounds familiar.

I’ve tried all the classroom management tips and tricks. Behavior charts, reward systems, putting on a GoNoodle, coming up with expectations as a class...I’ve done it all! And it does work....temporarily.

But I find myself constantly trying to come up with the next thing that will keep my classroom peaceful."

I dread the 'crazy times' of the year because it’s impossible to get my kids under control. The full moon, holidays, right before a vacation...learning is out the window because the entire day feels like it’s dedicated to behavior management.”

“I’m constantly putting out ‘little fires’. It feels like I spend most of my day managing behavior and keeping kids focused.”

You’ve done the classroom community thing.

You’ve tried morning meeting, and you’ve even tried teaching social and emotional skills for a few minutes a day. The kids seem to understand in the moment, but when you’re not peering over their shoulder, all that SEL teaching is lost.

Placeholder Image

You get the theory behind intrinsic motivation. It can’t be all about the stickers.

You don’t want to give out rewards for every little thing. But, let’s be honest, giving out stickers is totally motivating!  You want your kids to be intrinsically motivated to show positive behaviors, but they seem too little to understand these big words and values. Where’s the middle ground?

Placeholder Image

You could write a book on classroom management systems.

You have jars with marbles, charts with stickers, individual behavior trackers, parent communication journals, behavior logs ... but it’s all too much to keep up with! You need more time to focus on teaching.

Can I let you in on a secret?

If any of this rang true, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to give your kids social and emotional skills they can use this year (and every year) while making your classroom a safe space for learning. Your current classroom management system isn’t giving you more time to spend on instruction. In fact, it’s taking precious time away because you are constantly focused on managing behaviors.

What if I told you there was a way to completely transform the "vibe" of your classroom?

Instead of having a room full of kids who are unfocused, missing learning opportunities, tattling, arguing, and off-task, you’ll have a room full of engaged learners who can problem-solve with you as a facilitator.

Instead of teaching random SEL strategies for 20 minutes a day, your students will be given opportunities to practice these strategies in meaningful ways that will give them ownership in the classroom.

WHAT IF YOU COULD...

  • Have a simple classroom management system that feels do-able
  • Cut down on the steps, prep, materials and paperwork behind these systems
  • Find a classroom management system that actually fits you and your students (Rather than trying to fit into what works for someone else.)
  • Give your students the skills they need to make choices with emotional awareness
  • Help students build relationships and foster social and emotional growth in a meaningful way
  • Make this actually stick, so you have more time to teach and spend less time managing students

WHAT IF YOU COULD...

  • Make your classroom management system less complicated
  • Cut down on the steps, prep, materials and paperwork behind these systems
  • Find a classroom management system that actually fits you and your students (Rather than trying to fit into what works for someone else.)
  • Give your students the skills they need to make better choices
  • Help students build relationships and foster social and emotional growth in a meaningful way
  • Make this actually stick so you can have more time to teach and spend less time managing students
INTRODUCING

THE SIMPLE 3 STEP HEART-CENTERED CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT METHOD

My mantra during this training is “Keep it Simple”. I’ve created a simple 3 step method for building a foundation in classroom management and social/emotional learning that will empower your students to make healthy decisions about behavior and relationships.

After implementing this system, your students will confidently handle conflict while you step into the role of facilitator, leaving you more time to focus on instruction.

Your students will feel safe to explore words like empathy, gratitude, and kindness. They’ll be more engaged in classroom activities because of this heart-centered approach.

Students will work to repair relationships in a meaningful way after conflict (no more empty apologies!), and you’ll give them opportunities to practice this in a safe environment. Social and emotional learning will no longer be separate from the rest of your day, it will be woven throughout everything you do in the classroom.

Learn how to implement The Heart-Centered Classroom Management Method to finally give your kids social and emotional skills they can use this year ... and every year!

I’LL TEACH YOU THE FOUNDATIONS AND PHILOSOPHY BEHIND HEART-CENTERED CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT.

☑️ This is the #1 thing missing from classrooms today.

☑️ It’s the reason so many teachers are struggling to make classroom management strategies work.

☑️ This is why SEL strategies aren’t sticking & kids aren’t using them when you’re not around.

AFTER THIS TRAINING:

Because your classroom management routine isn’t about one-off tips, tricks, and strategies, you’ll be giving students the gift of lifelong social skills that will help them build resilience and healthy relationships with themselves and their peers.

You won’t have to give up the rewards with this system! Let’s face it, even as adults we like praise and recognition. There’s still a place for this in the classroom. But I’ll teach you how to move students toward intrinsic motivation in a way that’s developmentally appropriate and individualized for each child.

This system will work in any environment, whether that’s a socially-distanced classroom or a remote learning space. I know you’re overwhelmed right now, but your focus and attention on social and emotional learning is more important now than ever.

TAKE IT FROM A TEACHER WHO HAS TRIED THE HEART-CENTERED METHOD

“I’ve been following you for months and have pretty much made you a part of my nightly routine. Your passion and honesty keeps me motivated to be the best I can be each day. I love watching your Instagram stories when I get into bed because they leave me feeling extremely motivated for the next day and I wake up excited to implement some of the things I see you doing in your classroom. What I would not give just to be in your classroom for a week and watch you work and how your day runs.

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being the team I don’t have this year, the inspiration I need, and the motivation I love. I am so grateful for you. You keep me challenged and excited.

You are amazing. You have a gift, thank you for sharing it with the world. We are all better because of you.”

KIND WORDS FROM TEACHERS WHO HAVE TRIED THIS METHOD

Still have questions?

I know you’re faced with many opportunities to learn and grow professionally this year.

Here’s why this training belongs at the top of your to-do list:

You can stay feeling overwhelmed by the thousands of classroom management techniques other teachers are using. You can continue to print off reward coupons, try another behavior tracker, and pick up more and more prizes at the dollar store. You can spend another school year depending on the phases of the moon to determine your students’ behavior. You can spend all day running around trying to keep children on task. You can stay stuck in that overwhelm and frustration…

Or you could prioritize your PD and dive into this program to completely transform your classroom.

Picture this. You spend one evening watching a few videos from the training. The next day, you have strategies to implement in your classroom. After a few weeks, anyone walking into the room will feel the positive vibes. You might see the teacher sitting with the students in a healing circle. The classroom belongs to both the teacher and the student because both are equally invested in the well-being of the community, and each plays a special role in that community.

Kids are engaging with one another in healthy ways. They’re taking emotional responsibility for behaviors and actions. If harm is done to a relationship, students understand there’s a repair that has to take place in order to move forward as a healthy classroom family. Students are open and willing to learn through conflict with one another.

Kids are ready to learn, they are equipped with the tools needed because they have been given the space to talk about feelings and work through emotions and conflict. Students are ready to learn and collaborate. They’re able to problem solve on their own, leaving the teacher space to focus on instruction and facilitate important conversations.

Most importantly this year, students in this class are ready to tackle any changes that may come their way. They work together to generate solutions that work for the entire classroom community, and they feel safe to do so.
